Group Calls For Ooni Elect’s Prosecution Over Alleged N400 Million Fraud

The Ooni–elect, Prince Adeyeye Ogunwusi is involved in a fraud case as a human rights group called, Centre for Human Eights and Social Justice, is calling for the prosecution of the Ooni-elect following allegations of fraud.



According to newspaper report, a letter written by the Chairman of CHRSJ, Mr. Adeniyi Sulaiman to the chairman of EFCC, it is claimed that Prince Adeyeye obtained the sum of N400million by forgery

“We wish to refer the Honourable Chairman to the contents of   a weighty petition involving various acts of criminality namely forgery, fraudulent conversion and obtaining the sum of N400m by false presence levied against the above named person.


We also refer the chairman to the EFCC’s letter dated 17th September 2015 to Principal Parter, Olawoyin (Legal Practitioners) and a letter dated 23rd September 2015 from Olawoyin & Olawoyin (Legal Practitioners) to EFCC on the same subject matter.


In view of the foregoing. We hereby request your commission to prosecute immediately upon the receipt of this letter.”



The Ooni- elect is currently undergoing 21 day isolation as part of his coronation rights.
